Re: Then, the all out!
Date: 2015-06-18 02:27 am (UTC)And it's a bummer not to be able to write when it's one of the things that makes you feel better.
I'm struggling with depression and anxiety myself (what else is new?), although in my case it's mostly anxiety. And I'm still having trouble getting myself to take the pills at night that make me less anxious about going to sleep, because I'm anxious about going to sleep and don't want to take them. Sheesh.
How are your allergies? Better, I hope.
Do you still have your flock?
And how about another posting war? Whatever might help. Cuteness? Yuckiness? WTFness? Or maybe one of us can feed the other a word or phrase to image-google and post some of what comes up?
Me again, (curse word laden rant inside, of course)
Date: 2015-06-18 09:10 pm (UTC)Re: Me again, (curse word laden rant inside, of course)
Date: 2015-06-18 09:11 pm (UTC)The fucking greed of some god damn people. I need that money for fucking feed. Every dime I've made plus more from my mom has gone to them because I can't fucking sell them. These ducks have 2 more weeks to sell, then they are going to be slaughtered. I've sunk 100 fucking dollars into these god damn birds in the past 2 months. I have a food bill of 60 every 2 months my egg money pays for if I don't spend it on shopping because I feel I deserve a chance to go yardsaling every once in a while since I don't get to do anything else.
The birds are producing less, so I had to grow another crop of babies. Last year's lot turned out to be roosters or died. The ones we got from the store or hatched spring of 2014 (feb-march) don't lay very well or are small eggs despite being egg manufacturing breeds. It's just terrible. On top of that, I have 5 broody hens that won't sit on an egg to hatch it. They keep killing the banty eggs I give them, I dunno how, don't care. I'm can't let them sit on eggs, as they block my nesting boxes. I'm just about to slaughter 3 of them because they are shit fucking layers anyways. But, they are separated in my banty pen, right now, so, we'll see.
Now, details on the arm and this anxiety. I know you said it's fear of sleeping and fear of taking your meds, but what exactly scares you, hon?
Re: Me again, (curse word laden rant inside, of course)
Date: 2015-06-19 07:41 pm (UTC)Screw Yahoo, and screw the people trying to take advantage of you. Also, screw your fussy hens. (Are you able to at least get some of the eggs away from the hens and incubate them yourself? Or this that something that doesn't work out?)
Also, go suck Mama June's syphillis ridden rotted cunt made me laugh much harder than I should have :D
As far as the arm, not too bad, since I've been doing stuff with it. Often too much, or not carefully enough, so I end up with inflammation and have to rest it, but it does get better again. And at least I know I'm not damaging it again. I do need to get back to physical therapy, which I haven't done since October-ish. Goddamn insurance has given me three different policies, two of which they messed up, and the last of which they canceled for no apparent reason (and then I hadn't been covered since October). We didn't even find that out until B called to find out why they weren't sending me a card. He told them, "you are going to cover my wife retroactively, and get her covered by January (which was a week away). NOW." I don't think I've ever heard him so angry. (It's a cold, simmering anger, with no yelling. Really scary.)
I've got a card now, and I think I can stop waiting for the other shoe to drop. (After a few pairs.)
Regarding the anxiety, can we talk about that via PM or email? Whichever you choose. I'll be out for most of the day, I think.

Date: 2015-06-19 08:12 pm (UTC)My pekins will meet a similar fate when the drakes show themselves. They are fatted up that I can cook them if I wanted. But, I'm going to discover the males and give them to my cousin as promised. Dad will get at least 1 duck. A hen I think, because the meat will be milder. I want to try duck. You know I can't stand to eat my birds, but I want to try duck I'm so disgusted with them.
Mmm, soup and quackers. Hllllahhhh *Homer mouth drool*
Yay, B! You go, girl! Okay, You go, boy!
Get yo butt to the rehab! Don't wait for the next huarache to drop. You just do it!
Re: Me again, (curse word laden rant inside, of course)
Date: 2015-06-19 07:15 pm (UTC)Oh, terrific. At least you got some sleep, not that that's much comfort. When I had the Year of Hives (another story in itself), the only thing that helped to any real degree was to take as much benadryl as was safe, which mostly helped because it knocked me out. You can't really live like that, though.
Is it usually humid in your part of Florida? It's been unusually hot and dry even for California this year (even up north, where they generally have enough water), but at least the flora and fauna are adapted to the occasional drought and are able to bounce back when the rain finally comes). I'm sure you've heard a bit about the drought in California. (Maybe we'll all learn to actually conserve this time.)
Re: Me again, (curse word laden rant inside, of course)
Date: 2015-06-19 08:28 pm (UTC)It is extremely humid. No rain, but plenty of water. If we had atmospheric condensers, there would be a flood.
Eat the rich, and there'll be plenty of water for everyone.
