I've probably seen the series, although it would have been years and years ago. And I'm sure I've seen it at the zoo. But I certainly didn't remember the perfect mimicking, even of human-made sounds! The camera sounds were amazing. (Can you imagine taking pictures and having the bird make the sounds right back at you? I think I'd be laughing too hard to hold the camera steady.)

I don't believe the bird was actually repeating David's speech back to him, though. Not even if there were multiple takes :D

(That last reminded me of the Doctor Who episode "Midnight," though D: )
